I am trying to convert desktop to QBO and it is not allowing it to move

Let's ensure you'll be able to convert your data successfully, @pepservicecenter.

To start with, make sure to check these things before converting your file. Your data will not import if:

If everything is good and still you can't convert your data, we can run the repair tool before trying to move the file again.

Create a back up your company file. Then restart your computer to make sure no programs that may affect the repair.
Open the Windows Start menu, then select Control Panel. If you're using Windows 8 or 8.1, search "Control Panel" in the Windows Start menu.
Select Programs and Features then Uninstall a Program. If you don't see Programs and Features, tap Programs instead. Then select Program and Features.
Pick QuickBooks from the list of Programs, then Uninstall/Change.
Choose Continue, or Next.
Hit Repair, then Next. The repair should start right away, but it may take a while to finish. You can leave it running, and come back once it's done.
Once it's done, select Finish. You may have to restart your computer to complete the repair.
Lastly, update your QuickBooks to the latest release to makes sure you have the most recent fixes and security updates.

Did you encounter any specific issue? You are only able to migrate data from QB Desktop US version to QBO US version.
