I can create a Google calendar appointment on my Quickbooks app but have not found a way to do so with Quickbooks Online from my laptop. Is this possible?

QuickBooks Online doesn't have a built-in calendar. However, you can use QuickBooks-compatible third-party software. 

Since you're using our mobile app and have created an appointment with your customer. It'll sync into your Google calendar.
