I can not receive a SMS code from quickbooks online please help i have tried to do Many things to enter into my account but i can not do that

I'm here to ensure that you can receive an SMS code for your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.

 

There are various reasons why you didn't receive a verification text message. These are due to the following:

 

  • The phone number that is associated with your Intuit Account is incorrect.
  • Your phone plan doesn’t include SMS text messages.
  • Your phone plan doesn’t allow you to receive messages from shortcodes. You'll want to reach out to your phone provider to see if your project can be configured to receive SMS messages and shortcodes, allowing you to receive Intuit validation codes.

 

In addition, you can choose to receive the code via email. To do this, you need to turn off Two-step verification in your account. Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your account. 
  2. Select your profile icon next to gear icon, then choose Manage your Intuit Account.
  3. In the left menu, select Sign in & Security.
  4. Choose Two-step verification and Turn Off.
  5. You will then be asked to enter your password to proceed.

 

After that, check if you can now choose email as the option to receive the code.
