I can't find the option to change the email that I sign into my qb account with. I have followed all of the help options online and when I click on the sign and security tab there is no option for email, it just shows my account sign in activity.

Thanks for reaching out to us. Allow me to assist you in updating the email address.

 

It's good that you're able to log in to your Intuit account. Please refer to this screenshot of what you should be seeing.

 

Then, click the User ID section to update it. I'd advised matching the user ID to the Email address to avoid confusion and so that you can easily recover your login credentials if forgotten.

 

If you can't see this option on your end, we can perform basic troubleshooting. Let's start by using an incognito window and update the login credentials from there. Incognito won't save your browsing history which can result in an error. These are some of the shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P  

 

Also, you'll want to clear the cache and make sure you're using a supported and up-to-date browser. This can fix any browser-related issues.
