Question

I canceled all my subscriptions and now, I need a full refund; because I didn't realize the trial would result in an immediate deduction.

Welcome to the Community, Rowanjo. We've got your back to ensure you can request a refund for your QuickBooks Online (QBO) subscription.

When requesting a refund for your QBO subscription, it depends on where you purchased the product. If you buy it through an app store (Google Play or Apple's App Store), you'll need to process it with them. However, if you purchase it through Intuit, please fill out the request form. You can check out this article and go to Option 1 section: Request a refund for your QuickBooks product.

On the other hand, we can request a refund in your Intuit Account. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your Intuit Account and go to the Products & Services applet.
  2. Next, select Products and look for the product you want to return, and click the Return Product link at the right.
  3. Choose a cancel reason and slick Return Product.
  4. Wait for the confirmation that the product return was submitted successfully.
  5. You'll receive an email as your refund is processed.

For reference, check out this article: Request a refund for your QuickBooks product.

You can also reach out to our Customer Support Team to further assist you throughout the process. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QBO company.
  2. Click Help (?).
  3. Tap Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
  • Start a chat with a support expert.
  • Get a callback from the next available expert.

Also, note their support hours to ensure they're available to assist. After canceling your subscription, you can review this article to know what will happen to your data: The life of your QBO data after you end your QuickBooks subscription.

If you have any more questions about requesting a refund, feel free to reply below, Rowanjo. The Community team is here to help you with any other QuickBooks concerns you might have.

Thank you for your suggestion, but I can't find the bill number that would be in the email as stated in the refund form, and there is no record of it when I look at the payment history; however, my credit card shows a charge of $100.16; how do I find the bill number?
