Hello there. Welcome to the Community.

I'll make sure you can find all the financial reports (Balance Sheet, Balance sheet Detail, and Profit and Loss) you need in the Reports tab in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Before we start, I'd like to verify if your company is a non-profit organization. If so, the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss reports will show a different name in the Reports menu.

For Non-profit organization company types, the Balance Sheet report is called Statement of Financial Position. Then, the Profit and Loss report is called a Statement of Activity or Income Statement.

If your company isn't a non-profit type of organization, all the reports mentioned above should be available and has the same name in the list of choices in the Reports tab.

You may have a browser cache-related issue in your account. That's why you're unable to find those reports on the list. With this, let's perform some troubleshooting steps to fix this matter.

Start by pulling up your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser (incognito). Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox)
  • Control Option (Safari)

Once signed in, go to the Reports menu and search for the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss reports.

If you're able to do so, return to your default browser and clear its cache. This will refresh the system and remove older data that causes viewing and performance issues. However, if this matter continues, I'd recommend using other supported browsers.

Once everything is all set, you may also want to check out this article as your reference in knowing the complete list of reports available for your version of QBO: Reports included in your QuickBooks Online subscription.

Let me know if you have other reporting concerns or questions about managing financial transactions in QBO. I'll gladly help. Take care, and I wish you continued success.
