I can see how important it is to be able to access third-party apps in your client's QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, Precious. Rest assured, I'm here to help you achieve your goal.

In QuickBooks Online, access levels differ based on your user role. For instance, those with standard access can use third-party apps, while accountants can add additional apps.

In your case, I recommend verifying the access your client has given you. If everything's correct, we can perform some troubleshooting steps to rule out the possibility of a browser issue. We can start by signing into your QBO account using a private or incognito window.

You can use these keyboard shortcuts to save time:

  • Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

After signing in, try accessing the Apps menu again. If you can add new apps in incognito mode, return to your regular browser and clear the cache to refresh the system. Otherwise, you can use other supported browsers as an alternative.
