I get an error when submitting my Q3 federal tax payment saying my password has expired and I need to go to eftps.gov and change it. At eftps.gov the password works fine.

I get an error when submitting my Q3 federal tax payment saying my password has expired and I need to go to eftps and change it. At eftps.gov the password works so doesn't need to be changed. Anyone else having this issue?

We currently don't receive any issues about the prompt you're getting. Let's ensure you'll be able to submit your federal tax payment successfully.

 

This prompt is coming from the EFTPS website and not made by QuickBooks. Though the password works fine when accessing the website, you need to reset it from there, then use the update one when submitting the Q3 federal tax payment.
