I have a new phone and need to access my existing quickbooks account, but when I sign in it's like I'm a new customer. What do I do???

Thanks for coming here with us, sherylcuts.

I'd like to test out a few troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue when accessing your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account via mobile phone.

First, you'll want to make sure the login credentials are correct. This can be the reason why you're unable to access your existing account.

If it's not about the credentials, try logging in to your account using a regular browser. This way, we'll be able to know whether it's the browser or the app that's causing the issue.

If it works in the browser, I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the app from your phone. Furthermore, you can go to this link to redownload the app: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/quickbooks-self-employed/id898076976.

However, if the same thing happens after using a browser, I recommend getting in touch with our QBSE Support for further investigation.

Here's how:

  1. From the Assistant tab, type or say Talk to a human.
  2. If you want to connect with us directly, type or say Talk to a human.
  3. Then select your preferred support method: Message an agent (Live chat), Call an agent, or Get a callback.

The details on how to get in touch with the support is outlined in this article: How to contact QuickBooks Self-Employed Support.

It would be great if you'd let me know the results. I want to make sure everything is working fine. Take care and have a good one!
