I'd like to clarify why you don't have access rights to certain parts of QuickBooks Online (QBO), Jcordy.

Before that, we'd appreciate it if you could specify which settings you're trying to access so we can have a clearer visual of the issue.

Since you're a single user of your QBO company, it appears that you're using the Simple Start plan. It's important to know that this subscription is limited, and you don't have enough access to manage multiple users, track inventory, or a more detailed reporting. For an overview of what's included in the Simple Start plan, please check this link: QuickBooks Simple Start.

If you have trouble accessing the features included in your plan, we can troubleshoot your browser to resolve this issue. Sometimes, a corrupted cache can restrict your access to view certain data in the program. Please refer to these keyboard shortcuts:

  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Shift + N

Once resolved, you can return to your original browser to clear its cache or utilize another compatible one.

Furthermore, you'll be glad to know that you can add two accounting firms to your account to help manage your financial books.

You can also ask our team of experts to assist you in managing your financial tasks. They’ll work closely with you to ensure your financial records are accurate and up-to-date. Learn more by visiting this website: QuickBooks Live Assisted.

You can always return to the Community forum to engage and ask further questions about accessing QBO features. Our team is open anytime to provide you with valuable resources and answers. Best regards.
