I linked my square but it wants an account that square holds money before transfers?? I have no idea and I cannot get chat to work

When you sync the Square app into QuickBooks Online, the system will automatically download the transactions for you. Then, Square may need to create an account where to deposit and tracks your Square sales, expenses, and fees. For more info, please see this article: Sync Square with QuickBooks Online

 

Also, to connect to our phone support team, you can access your QBO account using a private mode. There are times when the cache and cookies in your browser may be corrupted which leads to navigation issues. The following are the shortcut keys you can use:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N 
  • Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

 

Once signed in, go to the Help menu and select Contact us. If this works, clear your regular browser cache. This is to remove the damaged and corrupted files.

  1. Head to the Contact support page at this link.
  2. Choose QuickBooks Online
  3. Click on Search for something else and enter Sync Square to QBO
  4. Hit Search.
  5. Select Start a Message.
