I’m a growing business and I want to pass qb’s over to my assistant . how do I create her as a user with me still being a admin??

Thank you for visiting QuickBooks Community. I'll share details to ensure you're able to assign/set your assistant as a user in QuickBooks Online to pass the account over to her. Then, how user roles work in the system.

When you add a user in QuickBooks Online, you can manage their roles and limit their access to specific tasks. You can also select what users can see and do within different areas of QuickBooks like customers and sales or vendors and purchases. With this, I suggest going to the Manage users page and set your assistant as a Company admin user. This way, you're able to transfer your QBO account so she can manage your account to stays accurate.

Here's how:

1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a master admin.
2. Choose the Gear icon ⚙.
3. Select Manage users.
4. Click the Add user button.
5. Select Company admin as user type. Then, select Next
6. Choose the access rights for the user. Then, select Next.
7. Select the user settings, if applicable. Then, select Next.
8. Enter the user’s name and email address. 
9. Hit Save.

You can also set or transfer your assistant as the Primary/Master admin. This is the main user who has access to every part of the QuickBooks account. They can manage all users and other admin tasks. By default, the primary admin is the person who initially set up the account.
