I'll work with you to resolve this reporting error you have in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @theoffgridacadem. This way, you can pull up the Profit and Loss report and monitor the different aspects of your business.

This Profit and Loss report error can sometimes be caused by the browser's overtime collection of data from frequent page visits. To isolate this matter, you can perform some troubleshooting steps.

You can start by pulling up your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser (incognito). Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox)
  • Control Option (Safari)

Once signed in, go to the Reports menu and run the Profit and Loss report. If you're able to do so, return to your default browser and clear its cache. This will refresh the system and remove older data that causes viewing and performances issue. However, if this matter continues, I'd recommend using other supported browsers instead.

Financial reports give you a snapshot of your business. You can customize them to focus on the specific accounts or filter the data that matter to you the most. For the step-by-step guide, you can refer to this article: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.

Also, I'm adding this article to see the complete list of available reports for your version of QBO: Reports included in your QuickBooks Online subscription.

Let me know in the comments how it goes. If you have other reporting concerns and questions about managing your business transactions in QBO, I'll gladly help. Keep safe always, @theoffgridacadem.
