Question

I'm curious how many original quickbooks users are absolutely frustrated with the online version. I wish I would have never switched. is it me and my lack of knowledge.

It's definitely not just  you.  QBO is NOT user friendly by any means.  And the fact that they are CONSTANTLY changing it is of no help.

Hello there. I recognize the importance of seamlessly using your QuickBooks Online account. Let me share some insights about the recent update for the dashboard in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

QBO is always striving to improve its user experience. As part of this, we have updated the homepage. The previous Get Things Done and Business Overview sections have been merged and renamed as Home. The new homepage is even more customizable, allowing users to personalize it according to their preferences. You can now add or remove widgets from the dashboard, adjust their placement, and resize them as needed. This way, it will help you to access information more conveniently.

Additionally, if you need more help while working with QuickBooks in the future, check out this article for more tips and resources:  Help articles, video tutorials, and more

If you have any other questions or concerns regarding the new homepage, please feel free to add a comment below. I'm always available to assist you. Stay safe.

Nobody asked about navigating seamlessly, whatever that means.

RE: I wish I would have never switched.

That is a very common sentiment expressed here on the community.  Generally people seem to loathe QuickBooks Online, especially those that converted from Desktop.

@pump2

Why don't you switch back to QB Desktop?
