Question

I made an account today and decided it’s not what I want. It already charged me. I thought there was a trial period.

I’m here to provide you with more information to assist you in managing subscriptions in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @collinscustomcre.

When you create a QBO account, you'll not get billed immediately as your subscription includes a 30-day free trial. Billing will start once the trial period ends. Since you don't need it yet, you can cancel your trial account. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as the primary admin.
  2. Go to the Gear icon and select Subscriptions and Billing.
  3. In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel Subscription or Cancel Online. If you're canceling a trial, select Cancel your trial.
  4. Follow the on-screen steps.

Then, I recommend contacting our Billing Team, as they can pull up your account and check the charges in a safe environment. Refer to the steps below to reach them:

  1. Login to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Click the Help menu in the upper-right-hand corner.
  3. Proceed to the Assistant tab.
  4. Type "contact supportinto the chat box and press Enter.
  5. Select QuickBooks Online Support, then click Contact Us at the bottom of the screen.
  6. Click Ask about something else, then enter a short description of your concern.
  7. Choose between Have us call you or Start a Chat.

Our support hours for Plus, Essentials, and Simple Start are Monday-Friday, 6 AM to 6 PM PT, and Saturday, 6 AM to 3 PM PT Advanced, any time, any day.
