I need physical help to set up my new checking account.

Happy to see you here in the Quickbooks Community. To set up your new checking account in the program, follow these steps to do so:

 

  1. Go to the Gear Icon, then select Chart of Account.
  2. Click New, and choose Banking.
  3. Leave account type as Bank, and under Detail Type, select Checking.
  4. Add additional information as the account name and so forth.
  5. Save the information.
