I need to add an accounting firm (I'm only allowed two) and can't. I was told only the primary user can, but she doesn't have that function available either. The only one who it seems we can delete is the one I want to keep.Help!

Hi there, @benewil. I'm here to share some info about adding and deleting accountant users.

 

Are you part of a wholesale billing plan? QuickBooks Online Simple Start, Essentials, and Plus can add two accountant firms and three for Advanced. Only the primary admin can add or remove them. If the firm covers the costs and billing, you can't delete them unless you take over the billing. You must be the primary administrator of the account to perform these steps.

 

You may also have too much accumulated historical data. Whenever you visit a website, it saves some information from the web page in its cache and cookies. These files allow the websites you visit most often to load faster. Not to worry, clearing them will do the trick.

 

First, let's try accessing your account through an incognito window to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue. You can refer to these shortcut keys to open an incognito window in all supported browsers:

 

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

 

If they appear, switch back to your regular browser. Then, clear its cache. This way, you can access QuickBooks with a clean slate. You can also use a different supported one.
