Question

I need to add our California state tax number and income amount for future 1099-nec reporting. Where do I add this?

I need the steps to add the information in Quickbooks so that it prints on my 1099-NEC.  And that it generates the State copy of the form.

I see the relevance of adding the California state tax number to your QuickBooks account, userparadisecornerps. 

 

Filing with your state is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Contractor Payments as of the moment. You can either contact your state to check if they require the 1099-NEC and how to file or visit the Community's article to learn more and search for your state to see how to file 1099s: File your state 1099 forms.
