I need to cancel an invite to my accountant

I sent an invite to my accountant but she had issues and needs me to delete the invite and resend. I only have access to the app. It won't let me send her another invite until the first one is deleted.

Thank you for visiting the QuickBooks Community. I'll ensure you'll be able to resend an invitation to your accountant smoothly by following the steps below.

 

When you want to resend an invitation to your accountant, you'll have to delete the invitation in the added user list. This is to ensure you won't be able to enter the same accountant and that's the reason the system won't let you send a new one.

 

Then, please know that managing your added user or accountant using a QuickBooks app is unavailable. I reccomend logging in to your QBO account via browser and deleting the invitation or removing the accountant name from the Accounting firms tab.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary admin.
  2. Go to the Gear icon ⚙ and select Manage users.
  3. Choose the Accounting firms tab.
  4. Find the accountant you want to remove or delete the invitation.
  5. Select the small arrow dropdown ▼ in the Action column and choose Delete.
  6. Select Delete to finish.

 

Once done, you can now start adding your accountant again by sending her/him an invitation.
