It's nice to have you here, ymsllvtreasurer.

Not to worry, I'm here to help you with deleting a Journal Entry in QuickBooks Online. In QBO,

the View register option is for bank accounts where as Run Report is for income and expense account. I've got two options on how to delete it.

To delete Journal Entry via the Chart of Accounts:

  1. Go to the Settings and select Charts of Accounts.
  2. Locate the appropriate account for the transaction.
  3. Select Run report.
  4. Select the journal entry you want to delete.
  5. Select More at the bottom.
  6. Choose Delete.
  7. Select Yes to confirm.

To delete Journal Entry via the Advanced Search:

  1. Select the Magnifying Glass at the top-right.
  2. Click Advanced Search.
  3. From the Search drop-down menu, choose Journal Entries.
  4. Click Search.
  5. Locate the journal entry you want to delete.
  6. Select More at the bottom.
  7. Choose Delete.
  8. Select Yes to confirm.

Using the steps above, you'll be able to delete a journal entry to ensure your books are accurate.
