Question

I need to invite my accountant but currently don't have access to phone to receive verification code. Can I receive verification code via email?

Thanks for turning to the Community for support. I'm happy to provide some info about receiving the verification code in QuickBooks Online.

 

Just to make sure I'm on the same page, are you referring to the verification code to initially log into your QBO account? If so, there should be an option to send the code to your email, or "Sign in a different way." If you don't see these options, I recommend trying to log in through accounts.intuit.com.

Hi @MorganB,

Thank you for your reply. I'm able to log into QBO. However, when I invite my accountant, verification code is sent via text. Is there a way I can request verification code be sent to email instead since I currently don't have access to that phone. (there's an option to choose email verification on log in page but I don't see that option on the accountant invite page). Thank you for your help. Cloud
