I need to run a report for 2020 showing total amounts my customers paid by payment type, cash, check, online, etc?

Is seems like a simple report but I can't see a way to run it

I'll be glad to help you with your reports.

 

 

We can run a report by payment method by using the Transaction List by Customer report. We'll just add the Payment Method column to it. However, this isn't the case for invoices, which we can only get the method used on their payments.

  1. Choose Reports.
  2. Look for Transaction List by Customer.
  3. Select the small Gear Icon.
  4. Choose Show more.
  5. Check the Payment Method in the checkbox.
