Question

I need to update my credit card information but keep getting the message that Bobbie Fox can only update information. I am that person. Why can't I update?

Good Morning, @bobbie19771979

I hope your week is going well. Let's make sure that you're running as the administrator in Quickbooks Desktop. Here's how:

  1. Close QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Right-click on the QuickBooks Desktop icon.
  3. Choose to Run as Administrator

It's that easy! Doing these steps will help remove the error message you're receiving when trying to update your credit card information. You can learn more about users and restrictions through this link.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask. It's my priority that you're able to get this resolved as soon as possible. Have a wonderful day!

I just tried that and it didn't work. I still got the same message, asking me to have ME sign in.

I've done everything I can think of. Logged in as administrator. Logged in the correct account (Intuit doesn't make this easy; I have at least 4 different passwords). And still, when I try to update my credit card information, it tells me I need to log in as Kenneth Kirk. I AM HIM! I'm the only one who ever logs into QB!
