Welcome to QuickBooks Community space, thesalon.

Going by your description, the QuickBooks Self-Employed version would be best for your business. This helps self-employed individuals like you to track their business-related transactions. You're responsible for reporting your taxes owed and filing them.  They would get reported on your year-end income tax filing.

QB Self-Employed will help you track mileage, expenses (separating business and personal and categorizing them) and keeping track of quarterly and year-end tax estimates.

For more details about the QBSE feature, check out this article: QuickBooks Self-Employed Overview

To subscribe to the QBSE plan, please visit our website by clicking this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/self-employed/. Then, contact the phone number in the Talk to Sales section if you need further assistance with our sales agent.

I've got a link here that provides you with articles about managing your business in your account: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/get-started/07.

Keep me posted if you need a hand with running transactions or any QBSe related. I'm determined to ensure your success. Keep safe and healthy.

If you have to open a new account, make sure to click the Buy button to get the discounted price for up to 6 months. If you purchase from the trial account, you have to pay the regular price. For QBSE, currently company offers $1/month for 12 months.
