I receive emails to my old email address although I have updated my account with my new email address!

Thank you for posting here in Community @kiakiani,

 

You can update your email address in your QuickBooks Online account in the accounts and settings. Let me walk you through the step. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Account and Settings.
  3. Choose the Company tab.
  4. Click the pencil icon from the right portion of the Contact info section to edit.
  5. Remove the checkmark on the Same as company email box.
  6. Enter the new email address on the Customer-facing email box.
  7. Click Save, then Done.

 

To check your new email address, you can create a dummy invoice and send it to the updated email addess.

 

If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support to check your account in QuickBooks Online. Follow these steps:

 

  1. Go to the Help menu.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Type your concern in the "What can we help you with?" box.
  4. Click Let's talk.
  5. Choose between Message an agent or Get a callback.
