I see that a person that is no longer a user is accessing our account.  A past admin, who is not a user, edited 2023 budgets on Aug 22, 2024 and Feb 7 2024. How can this happen?

I know the reason why a previous admin can still access your account, @456824420, and I've got a way to help you prevent that from happening.

To start, you'll have to check their access rights in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. You can remove them immediately from the Manage users window if you're the master admin (primary admin).

However, if you own the company but don't have the rights to remove them, you'll have to submit a request as a master admin if that user is currently the primary admin. This way, you can remove the previous user from the account who's no longer working with the company.

To learn about the different options for user roles and access permissions, I've added this article: User roles and access rights.

Additionally, I'll be providing you with this helpful resource just in case you need assistance creating and managing custom roles in QBO: Add and manage custom roles.

Your success in managing your QuickBooks Online account is my top priority, and I'm here to support you every step of the way.
