Question

I signed up with a free trial that does report data to the account I’ve paid to use going forward. Is there a way to merge these two logins?

Hi there, @morganskis.

The Intuit IDs that you use to sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed cannot be merged into different logins, but you can import the data as an alternative way to achieve the same effect.

First, you need to export your transactions from QuickBooks Self-Employed through this article: Export Transactions and Trips to .CSV

Then, after exporting, import them to your other QuickBooks Self-Employed account manually. Here's how:

  1. Click the Settings ⚙ icon, and then choose Imports.
  2. Select the account wherever the transactions belong to. Then Press Import older transactions.
  3. Follow the instructions onscreen to finish importing your data.
  4. Hit Continue
  5. Press OK.

Once the import is finished, you'll need to review and categorize your transactions to put them into the account.

You may refer to this article how your data exported and imported into another version of QuickBooks: Self-Employed: Import, export, and conversion limitations.

I want to make sure that you'll be able to import your data, please don't hesitate to let me know how it goes. If you should have additional questions, I'm just a click away. Take care!
