This is too much since I only use the desktop to print invoices ( 12-15/yr ). My business will phase out in 6-8 mths and the cost by QB to fx is way to high, what to do?

QuickBooks uses Microsoft programs to run its web-based apps. One of these is called Microsoft .NET Framework. When there's issues with this program, your books may not function properly.

If you're using Windows 10, 8.1, or 8, you'll want to begin troubleshooting initially by checking .NET Framework's settings.

Here's how:

  1. Close all active apps.
  2. Open the Windows Start menu.
  3. Type "Control Panel" into your search field.
  4. Access the Control Panel section.
  5. Go to Programs and Features.
  6. Choose Uninstall a Program.
  7. Select Turn Windows features on or off.
  8. Find .NET Framwork on your list.
  9. In the event .NET Framework doesn't have its checkbox ticked, tick your checkbox for the feature, hit OK to save the changes, then reboot your computer. If its already turned on, turn it off, press OK, restart the computer, then turn it back on and save your change.

If your company file still won't open, try checking if .NET Framework needs to be repaired. In the event you receive an error while uninstalling or reinstalling .NET Framework, you'll need to get in touch with Microsoft support or an IT professional as it could be related to your operating system.

I'll be here to help if there's any questions. Have a wonderful Monday!
