Question

I've had an ongoing problem with my bank accounts losing connection every time i open my other organization. I have 4 qbo accounts, and 4 bank accounts with one login.

It would be a pain but it wouldn't be that big of a deal to re-connect every time, EXCEPT every time i do that, transactions are somehow lost in the process. The connections isn't smart enough to go back to the last one downloaded. This makes reconcilling my 4 orgs 10x more difficult. I've had support tickets and told its a known problem. But it is getting ridiculous. Chase bank, for reference.

Being able to see your transaction is indeed important, Ryan.

Before we proceed, may I ask if you've encountered any errors while reconnecting your bank account? Since you mentioned having four bank accounts with one login, are these set up as separate accounts with one parent? This way, we can provide the appropriate steps to resolve this matter.

In the meantime, it's best to check if there are undergoing system maintenance from your bank by going to your financial bank's website or contacting them directly.

If everything is verified, I recommend contacting our support so they can help you further with this using the necessary tools they have.

Here's how:

  1. In your QBO account, select Help (?).
  2. Choose the Search tab.
  3. At the bottom of your screen, click Contact Us.
  4. Type your concern. Then click Continue.
  5. You may choose Callback, Appointment, or Chat to connect with us.
  6. Kindly fill out the provided fields, such as your First name, Last name, Email address, and Phone number.
  7. Depending on what you choose as your way to connect with us, click Callback, Schedule an appointment, or Chat.

When you're ready to categorize your transaction, you can access this material: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Please let me know if you have additional information regarding this, Ryan.
