Hello there! I'll go over how you can access your QuickBooks Checking account.

If you haven't already, please sign up for QuickBooks Payments and QuickBooks Checking. Once done and approved, you can now have your QuickBooks Checking account as well as your QuickBooks Debit Card in the mail within 7-10 business days.

When you're all set, we now start transferring money to and from your QuickBooks Checking account by connecting an external bank account. Please know that connecting to an external account is different from online banking.

You may need to set up an account you already linked for online banking a second time for QuickBooks Checking.

Once you're ready, here's how:

  1. Go to Business overview, select Cash flow, and choose QuickBooks Checking.
  2. Choose Transfer and then select to transfer money between your accounts. You're not going to transfer money yet. You'll need to start the connection.
  3. Click Add a bank.
  4. Enter your bank's name and select your Account Type.
  5. Enter your account number and routing number.
  6. When you're ready to connect, select Next.

Then, QuickBooks will send two small deposits to the account within the next three days. Once you see the deposits in your account, go back to QuickBooks and verify the transactions.

For more information and a detailed step-by-step process about using a QuickBooks Checking account, you can check out this handy guide for your reference: Use your QuickBooks Checking account.

Also, I'll add this resource here to guide you further in organizing your QuickBooks Checking transactions in the future: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

You can always reply or reach out to us again if you need anything else with accessing your QuickBooks Checking account. We're always here to guide and assist whenever you need help. Have a good one!
