Question

I want to add payroll to my subscription. It won’t allow me since I’m signed up through the mobile app through Apple. What steps do i need to take?

I'm here to assure you that upgrading your subscription to QuickBooks Online with payroll using your mobile device is possible.

 

To upgrade to QBO Payroll, if you are currently being billed through your app store, you need to transfer your QBO billing to QBO. After successfully transferring your billing status, you can now proceed to upgrade your subscription to QBO Payroll.

I’ve tried and tried and the only thing i can do is cancel my subscription through the App Store. I have found no option to transfer billing. Every time i try to add payroll it tells me to manage my subscription through the original app and I’m back to the only option being to cancel.

Since your option is different from what we have, I recommend contacting our QBO Support. This way, they can help you transfer your billing.
