Solved

I want to delete Connect to Square, but it's telling me that the app was added by another person and won't let me delete it. I am the only person!

I went to Apps -- My Apps, and Connect with Square is there, but I have no ability to manage it. But my account is the only user on this business, so why won't it let me delete it?

I want to ensure you're able to delete a square app in QuickBooks Online (QBO) @norroway.

Let's determine if this is a browser issue. There are times when the cache and cookies may be corrupted, which leads to navigation issues in QuickBooks. To get started, open your QBO account in a private mode to have a clean slate.

Here are the shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

Once done, disconnect the app again. If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache. It will remove the stored cache or cookies to refresh your browser's background processes. If the same thing happens, use another supported browser. It could be the one you're currently using has a temporary issue with QuickBooks.

Check out this link to search for other third-party applications that would work best with your business: QuickBooks Apps.

You can also visit our QuickBooks Online Help page. The site has articles and even video tutorials that can guide you through your QuickBooks tasks.

Let me know if you still have questions about the Square app. I'm more than willing to assist you. Take care.
