I was unable to update my payment method for some reason so i tried to renew my subscription, but accidently I bought an extra instead. Can I get a refund for it?

I was unable to pay for my previous subscription due to some credit card issue. I thought that I have to renew my subscription by buying it again. But instead when I did that I bought an extra subscription and all the data is still in my previous one. I wanted to to only renew the one I already have. Now my credit issue is resolved and I was able to pay for my previous subscription. I have applied for refund for my second subscription. Will I qualify to get a refund??? What will happen now?

Good to see you here in the Community, mwasimakhtar430-.

It's nice to know that you're able to renew your QuickBooks Online subscription.

To get any updates about your refund application, I'd suggest reaching our Customer Support Team. They have the right tools to pull up your account and check your refund application.

Like this:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click on Help (?) at the top right.
  3. Put a brief description of your concern, then select Let's talk.
  4. Select Contact Us, then choose a way to connect:
  • Start a chat with a real-time support.
  • Get a callback from the next available expert.

You can check this link for more details about the support hours: QuickBooks Online Support.

I've added this article to learn more about the refund process: Request a refund for your QuickBooks product.
