I would like to export my quickbooks online payroll to quickbooks online. tried the export but doesnt seem to export to quickbooks online

Before we begin, please describe what happened when you tried to export your data. Did you encounter any error messages? This information will help me address the issues effectively.

 

The reason why you're unable to export your data from QuickBooks Online is that the data export from QuickBooks Payroll was completed by a non-primary admin while using a standalone payroll subscription.

 

If you're not using a standalone payroll subscription and your primary admin has completed the export data from your QuickBooks Payroll, you can open your account in private browsing mode to see if this has something to do with your browser.

Here are the shortcuts for private browsing on different browsers:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

 

After signing in, you can now try exporting your data again. If this resolves the problem, return to your default browser and clear the cache to refresh the page. Then, start with a clean slate. Alternatively, you can also use other supported browsers.
