If I used Quickbooks desktop since 2007 and now are subscribing to QB online Simple. Cam I still see my desktop version?

I’m glad to know you’re now using QuickBooks Online Simple Start. Let me provide some information on what happens to your QBDT data when you move QBO.

The desktop company file can still be viewed even if you import it to the online version. The process only brings the data to the online platform and it doesn’t affect your access to QBDT. It’s also the same when you manually enter the information into QBO.
