If we were to downgrade our subscription for Quickbooks online to no longer use credit card payment processing services, would we lose all of the past transaction data?

I have some details regarding your concern, sarah112.

 

When you cancel QuickBooks Payments, you have one full year to access your Merchant Services account and view or download your reports.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to the Merchant Service Center as an admin user.
  2. Go to Activity & Reports > Transactions.
  3. Select the date from the drop-down list, and click the Search button.

For cancelling the Merchant Services account, you can follow these steps:

 

  1. In the Merchant Service Center, select the Account > Account Profile.
  2. Select Close Account, then  choose the reason from the Reason for closing drop-down. You can add any comments you'd like to share.
  3. Click Submit.
