I'm here to help you generate the profit and loss report for 2023 in QuickBooks Online (QBO),inglinbrothers.

There could be several reasons why your accounts for 2023 are not appearing in your profit and loss report. It's possible that the accounts are not properly categorized or there may be issues with the date range and accounting method you are using to generate a report.

I've added screenshots for your reference.

If everything is accurate and the problem continues,  we can perform some troubleshooting steps to fix this. There are times when the browser is full of frequently accessed page resources, which causes some errors or unusual responses.

Let's start accessing your account using a different or private browser. You can use either of these shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

Once logged in, try to run the profit and loss report again. If it works, I recommend clearing your browser's cache. Doing so will remove the historical data and access QuickBooks with a clean slate. You can also switch to a different supported browser.

Just in case you want to customize and memorize your reports in QBO, you can check out these articles for more guidance:
