Import Customer list in Desktop without overwriting/deleting existing list

We are acquiring a company, and need to import their list into our current company file. Can we do this using the IIF file format without overwriting or eliminating the current list? We want to keep our current list and add the new names into it in a batch, instead of individually typing in all the customers' information.

Thank you.

Hi Deb0912!

It would indeed save time if you can use an IIF file to import your list of customers. The list will only add to your existing customers, it won't replace them. However, I highly recommend backing up your company file to make sure you won't lose anything in case there's an issue. Please note also that we won't offer technical support for importing and exporting IIF files.
