Hello there, tsr2. I'm here to provide some details about the issue you're experiencing and offer a solution.

To begin, did you migrate from QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to QuickBooks Online (QBO)? If that’s the case, it’s important to know that when paychecks are converted from QBDT to QBO, they're transformed into regular checks. This conversion might be the reason you’re unable to run certain reports or process payments in QBO. For further details, please refer to this article: Move your QuickBooks Desktop file to QuickBooks Online. Move your QuickBooks Desktop file to QuickBooks Online.

Regarding your report concerns, please note that QBDT and QBO are distinct software programs, each with different functionalities. The steps you are currently taking to retrieve your employees’ unemployment taxes in QBO are correct. For a list of available payroll reports in QBO, please check this article: Run payroll reports.

Additionally, you can memorize your reports in QBO to save any customizations for future use.
