Hi there, @cfrllcfl.

I'm here to help you get the missing customer in the Recent Automatic Transactions report in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Sometimes if the report is not customized correctly, there's a possibility that there are missing data. With this, let's ensure that the report is customized appropriately to all customers has a transaction entered in the system will show up.

See the sample screenshot below.

Once confirmed and still missing, I'd suggest reviewing the Audit log to check if there's another user who made changes.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Settings on the right side.
  2. Choose Audit log under Tools
  3. Filter it to All usersAll dates, and Show all events
  4. Tap Apply
  5. Examine the events.

If there's is a deleted or inactive, please re-enter or re-activate the customer's information in the system. For more details, check out this article: Use the audit log in QuickBooks Online.

If you didn't see any changes, I'd recommend doing basic troubleshooting steps to fix the problem. Sometimes full of cache can cause unexpected behavior.

To start, let's access your account via incognito. This browser won't save any cache or history. You can use these shortcut keys below:

  • Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox)
  • Control Option (Safari)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Microsoft Edge)

From there, re-run the report to check if it's already functioning well. If that works, go back to your usual browser, and initiate clear the cache. Doing in other supported browsers is a great choice too.

I've also added articles about various reports and how to memorize them.
