Whenever you visit a website, your browser will store the site data in its memory. At times, these files get corrupted causing data integrity issues in your reports.

 

To fix this issue, you can perform some basic browser troubleshooting steps. First, open your QuickBooks account using a private window. This mode doesn't save your browsing history, cache and cookies, and information entered in forms. Check out the keyboard shortcuts below:

 

  • Mozilla Firefox (CTRL + SHIFT + P)
  • Microsoft Edge (CTRL + SHIFT + P)
  • Google Chrome (CTRL +SHIFT + N) 
  • Safari (⌘ + SHIFT + N)

Once you're in, head to the Reports menu and open the Inventory Valuation Detail/Summary report. If it's now working well, you'll have to go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to delete the accumulated junk files.

 

If the issue still persists, you can use other supported browsers as an alternative. The one you're currently working on may have a temporary issue with QuickBooks Online. Using a different one in the meantime will help you get back to work.
