You need to signup for QBO Accountant account with another email address. Another option, ask your client to invite your email address as a Company Admin.

I agree with what 4Gal said. When invited as an accountant user with the same email address as your regular QBO access, you may not receive the email invitation due to a specific process. The system may have identified your email address as an existing user and won't send a duplicate invitation. In this case, you can access the company file by logging in directly to your QBO Accountant account with your existing credentials.
