Question

Is anyone having issues connecting Credit Cards from Comenity? I have 2 credit cards that both stopped syncing. The credentials are correct as I can login in via the site

I know that I'm using the right credentials and have changed them multiple times with no success. I've removed the accounts and added them back in with no remediation.

Good day, @shearxpressionse. Thanks for posting your concerns in the QuickBooks Community and sharing your troubleshooting steps.

I'm here to ensure that you're able to get your bank feeds working again so that you can keep your accounts updated and manage your transactions accordingly.

Before we begin, I want to make sure I have all the necessary information. Could you please let me know if you encountered any error messages while downloading your bank transactions? This will help me provide the exact solution for this issue. You can also check this resource for appropriate troubleshooting to fix the problem: What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online.

It's possible that your credit card company is either performing system maintenance, or there are notifications on their website that require your attention, causing them to stop syncing transactions in QBO.

When your financial institution undergoes system maintenance, you can manually update your account to refresh the connection between your bank and the program. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking or Transactions menu.
  2. Select the blue tile for your credit card account.
  3. Click the Update button.
  4. (Optional) Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

You can also sign in to your credit card's website to check your account page for messages or alerts that require your attention. On the other hand, you can manually import bank transactions into QuickBooks.

Once your transactions are downloaded, all you have to do is review and/or match them to the existing entries in QuickBooks. This will keep your account updated.

Also, I encourage you to reconcile your accounts in QBO regularly (every month). This helps monitor your income and expense transactions and detect possible errors accordingly.

I'm here to address any other banking concerns or questions you may have about managing transactions in QBO. Feel free to leave a comment below, and I'll be glad to assist you. Take care.

@shearxpressionse

Try opening your QBO account on any private/incognito browser. If the same error persists, you can use MT Online or one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license) as a workaround.

YES!!!  I also have 2 Credit Cards from Comenity that have done the same!  They both stopped syncing on 7 Feb & 8 Feb.  I have tried to get help through QB support; however, first they said it was an issue for a lot of people and they were working to correct it.  Then they closed my case stating they confirmed it was a log in credential error. UGH!!!!  I KNOW this is not the case because I am able to log in on the CC websites with no problems.  I tried all their suggestions, opening incognito & private.  Cleared my browsing history/cache, etc.  Changed password.  NOTHING WORKS!!  I just want it fixed so I am able to keep my books up to date.

I have tried contacting QB support.  They closed the case saying it is a log in credential error.  However, it is NOT a log in credential error as I am able to log in to my account on the bank page.  It is only an issue on QB.
