I would like to access data from QBO into excel where I can do a variety of analyses. I would like to do this in an automated way without exporting files.

Connecting Power Query in Excel to QuickBooks Online isn't possible, ewiehe. Thus, we can access data from QBO by exporting it. I'll share some details about it.

Data export in Quickbooks is currently a manual process. However, integration with Power Query to QuickBooks can be achieved using a third-party connector.

You can find a third-party connector by going to Apps in QuickBooks, selecting Find Apps, and then typing Microsoft.

After importing and cleaning the data with Power Query, you can utilize Excel's features to create pivot tables and charts and then perform analysis on your QBO data.

You can also click this article to learn how to export your reports to Microsoft Excel from QuickBooks Online.
