Question

Is it possible to delete or cancel multiple projects at the same time? Like a batch?

I am trying to inactivate old customers but they have projects attached to them.  Is there a way to inactivate multiple projects at once?

I understand the convenience of having the functionality to remove multiple projects at once, johna. I'll provide insights regarding this particular feature.

Currently, the option to batch-delete projects in QuickBooks Online (QBO) isn't available. Nevertheless, we recognize the importance of this feature to your business and recommend you submit a feature suggestion directly to our Product Development Team. We value your ideas and insights. Whether it's praise, suggestions, or areas where we can improve, your insights are invaluable to us. Your recommendation will be shared with our Development Team.

I'll show you how you can send one:

  1. Locate the Help option.
  2. Under Profile, choose Feedback.
  3. Enter your feedback suggestion.
  4. Hit the Next button.

You can stay up-to-date with the latest news about product enhancements by reviewing Intuit's Product Updates webpage.

In the meantime, it might be necessary to Delete project manually.

Additionally, you can permanently remove them only after they've been completed. Should you wish to delete an active one, you'll need to transfer the transactions to another project, sub-customer, or customer first. Following this, adjust its related details. Finally, we can inactivate your customers

Remember,  johna, I'm here to support you every step of the way. Feel free to reach out whenever you have questions or need assistance with the QuickBooks project feature. Let's work together to ensure your QuickBooks experience is efficient and effective. Have a great day!
