Is there a report that would show me the variances between my bank balance and 'in QuickBooks' balance?

Welcome to QuickBooks Community. Allow me to assist you with the report you need.

First, please note that QuickBooks Online will be able to determine your actual bank balance if you link it. Your bank will send data to QuickBooks Online which includes the bank transactions and the balance. You can go to the Accounting menu, then select Chart of Accounts. From there, you'll see the balances on the QuickBooks Balance and Bank Balance columns. If you can't see them, simply click the small gear icon and check them.
