I'm looking for a report that shows EBITDA instead of a generic P&L

Hi there, nick-sammartano-.

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community. I'll be sharing an alternative way or steps to ensure you can run and get the same data with EBITDA.

EBITDA represents the result of interest, taxes, and depreciation on fixed assets and immaterial assets. With this, running a specific report to calculate EBITDA is currently unavailable.

Meanwhile, I recommend exporting the standard Profit and Loss or the detail report to Excel and customizing it from there. That way, you can edit the data so the EBITDA details will appear.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Reports menu in the left panel.
  2. Choose Profit and Loss in the search bar.
  3. Click the Export icon beside the print icon. Then, choose Export to Excel
  4. Customize it until the data you want to show
  5. Save the file somewhere you can easily find it, like your Downloads folder or your desktop.

Please know that if there are missing data when you open the report in Excel, the file's in protected view. You’ll need to select Enable Editing to view the full report. You can open this article to see extra details on how reports work in QBO: Run reports in QuickBooks Online.

Lastly, you may refer to this article to see a table list that contains various reports available to give you snapshots of different areas of your business: Reports included in your QuickBooks Online subscription.

Please let me know if you have further concerns about running reports in QuickBooks. I'd be glad to work with you again, nick-sammartano-. Have a great day!
