Is there a way to control what items appear on the Dashboard in the QuickBooks iPad app? I would like to remove Profit and Loss from mine.

Generally, a dashboard is an information management tool that monitors, analyzes, and gives you a visual display of key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and important data to track the status of your company, a department, a campaign, or a specific process.

For now, the option to remove the Profit and Loss overview is currently unavailable. I know that being able to customize how you want your dashboard to show is more convenient in organizing your data. You'll want to check out our Customer Feedback page if a request has already been submitted. If there's non, you can provide feedback on the forum so our engineers can look into this.
