Is there a way to get a report or list of transactions that do not have an attachment?

This would facilitate getting receipts that are needed as documentation.

I'm here, Karol1. I'll help you check the list of transactions without attachments.

If you want to see the list of expense transactions that don't have attachments, you can follow these steps:

  1. Click Expenses.
  2. Go to the Expenses tab.
  3. Click the Gear icon above the ACTION column.
  4. Tick the Attachments box.

If there are no attachments, you can see the Attach a file link. You can also export the list by clicking the Export to Excel icon.

If you want to see the sales transactions, you can follow these steps:

  1. Click Sales.
  2. Go to the All Sales tab.
  3. Click the Gear icon above the ACTION column.
  4. Tick the Attachments box.

You can also export the list so you can have a better view of the sales transactions that don't have attachments.

The attachments page NEEDS a filter so you can ONLY see transactions that do NOT have an attachment.  My customer files are so long that I cannot find which transactions are missing attached receipts, which my client needs to know. The way it is now, the list is almost useless.

If you export the list to Excel, you can use filters there to filter out the transactions you want to see.  I put a filter on all the columns and keep only the ones that are blank in the attachment column, and also filter out the transaction types I don't want (bill payments for example - I only want bills and expenses).  And you can filter out the vendors you don't need, like TD or the company they pay rent to.
