Question

Is there a way to limit users from not seeing other users information?

If I have multiple users who enter estimates and invoices is there a way for them to only have access to the sales that they enter? I do not want them to be able to see other employees sales that are input.

Thank you for posting here in the Community, @schrom. Let me share some information about limiting users' access to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

At this time, the option to limit a user's access to view and manage what transactions they enter only is unavailable. You can check out this article to learn about the different options for user roles and access permissions.

I can see that this option is beneficial to you and your business's security. However, I want to let you know that your voice matters, and we're taking notes of this suggestion.

For now, I encourage submitting feedback to our product engineers. This way, they can look into this suggestion and consider it in future updates.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Then, click Next to submit feedback.

In addition, feel free to visit this article to learn more on how you can add, manage, or delete user profiles. You can give each user certain permissions to do specific tasks. Your subscription level determines how many users you can add.

You can always feel free to reach out to me here if you have any other questions about managing users' access in QBO. I wish you and your business continued success. Take care and have a wonderful day!
